Through humility and obedience, we are invited to be joint heirs with His Son!
Love joins and unifies, and produces LIFE.
Hate, greed, grasping, and fear disconnects and creates dissatisfaction and DEATH.
In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus so profoundly says,
“Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to saving yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? What could you ever trade your soul for?” (Mark 8:37, The Message).
So HOW are we to love?
The answer is the single-minded pursuit of intimate connection with the living resurrected Jesus who alone can empower us to live in loving connection with God, our true selves and each other!
“So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless” (John 15:4-5, The Passion Translation).
We will repeatedly share with those of you who truly long for the life Jesus promised, the glorious truth that everything your soul was created for and hungers for, is found in intimate connection with God, your true self and others.
This is the power of the ONE80 Life!
